Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are your pieces new or vintage?
A: Nearly all of our pieces are vintage or gently pre-owned. We hand-select every item for quality and condition, and we always include notes about wear or signs of age. These are not factory-new, but we believe the charm is in their history.
Q: Do you clean the china before shipping?
A: Yes - every item is gently cleaned and inspected before it leaves our hands. We never use harsh chemicals or abrasives, and we pack with care to preserve the beauty of each piece.
Q: Can I request a specific pattern or piece?
A: Absolutely. If you’re hunting for something special - a replacement, a rare item, or something from your grandmother’s set - just send us a message. We keep a wishlist and we’ll contact you if we come across it.
Q: Do you offer combined shipping?
A: Yes! If you purchase multiple items, we’ll gladly bundle them and adjust your shipping costs. Just message us before checkout or after purchase, and we’ll take care of it.
Q: What if my item arrives damaged?
A: We pack everything with extreme care, but if something arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Send a photo of the item and packaging, and we’ll work with you to resolve it - whether through a refund or replacement, if possible.
Q: Do you offer returns?
A: Because of the fragile and vintage nature of our pieces, we typically do not accept returns. However, if there’s an issue with your order, please reach out - we’re committed to making things right.
Q: Where do you ship?
A: We currently ship within the United States. For international requests, please reach out directly and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Q: Can I pick up locally?
A: At this time, we’re online-only. However, local pickup may become available in the future - especially for larger sets. Stay tuned or contact us directly if you’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Q: Are your pieces food safe?
A: Most vintage china is safe for decorative or occasional use, but may not meet modern FDA standards for daily food service - especially if there’s gold trim or hand-painted details. When in doubt, we recommend using a liner or reserving for dry foods or display.
